Civita is a comfortable apartment located between Amalfi and Ravello, in an ideal spot from which to tour the Amalfi Coast. The town of Amalfi is about a 15 minutes walk away, or by bus is reachable in 5 minutes, whilst Ravello can be reached by a flight of stairs (plenty!!!) or by bus in 10 minutes. The closest beach is Castiglione which is 15 to 20 minutes walk away. This beach is about 100 steps below the road level. The house is surrounded by gardens filled with olive trees. The Villa has an elegant aspect and is furnished with quality. The apartment is located on a ground floor, not far from the road. There is really not a single step to reach it, which is a rarity on the Amalfi Coast. Parking is very easy. If you want a reserved parking spot you can have it for an extra cost of Euro 10 per day. The apartment consists of an entry living room with a and table and a comfortable couch. An extra person can sleep at an additional cost of Euro  70 per week in a single bed that can be set anywhere in the apartment. There are two double bedrooms and a full bathroom with bath tub. The kitchen is just off the living room, and is fully equipped with new and functional equipment including an oven, refrigerator, 4-burner stove. The apartment has a gorgeous equipped terrace where you can either lie in the sun, as it is furnished with two sun beds, or eat outside, taking in the breathtaking panorama that opens out in front of you. No pets allowed in this apartment. We are happy to highly recommend this apartment for a family or for 2 couples. It is one of the few apartments on the coast without stairs, an important consideration. The position is perfect with beautiful views of the coastline and the surrounding olive groves. Civita has a beautiful big terrace where you can spent most of your time. Inside the apartment there are 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and a lounge, dining area that opens out to the view. The well equipped kitchen also looks out to the sea and the olive trees. Transport. It is possible to walk from the apartment to Atrani, Amalfi, the beach of Castiglione and Ravello. Be warned though that there are a lot of steps involved. The walk in all directions however is restful and very attractive, winding its way through the back streets of Atrani or through the vines and vegetable gardens on the way to Ravello. Without a doubt more relaxing than driving, an experience not to be missed. Parking in all the towns is quite difficult so public transport is the cheapest and easiest solution. Amalfi is a lovely town, with a stunning church and cloisters. The main piazza is full of activity and is well worth a visit. The most pleasant hours here are before 10am and after 6pm when the tourist buses leave. In between these times Amalfi is packed tight with tourists. Optional car parking Euro 10 per day and heating is Euro  70 per week. Accessories: toaster, kettle, coffee maker, iron and iron board.

Position

The apartment is located halfway between Amalfi (at 2 kms) and Ravello (at 3 kms) at 20 minutes walk to the beach of Castiglione or Atrani. Amalfi can be reached either walking 30 minutes or using the Sita bus within a ten minutes ride.

Parking and accessibility

Possibility of a private car parking at Euro 10 per day. The apartment is located at a ground floor of a building, no steps from the road and few meters from the bus stop.

How to arrive to Ravello

Leaving Naples, follow the A/3 motorway to Salerno. Exit in Angri and follow the brown signs to Costiera Amalfitana and Ravello. After Corbara and Chiunzi, you'll be by Tramonti and arrived in Ravello. Once in Ravello, don't take the tunnel on your right but go towards the centre of the village. Our usual meeting point is by the restaurant Da Salvatore, located by the central Piazza Vescovado.

Extra info

A car can be useful as the apartment is not so close to the centre of the village, but there is a good public transportation system by the SITA bus company.

Coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle are available at the apartment.
