General description of apartment A Vite

Apartment La Vite is one of the quietest places in Praiano, far from the busy road and set among pine trees, gardens, and olive trees. It has a fantastic view of Positano, and the islands of Capri and Li Galli. This apartment has been recently refurbished and everything is new and functional. The kitchen is equipped with a four burner stove, an oven, a fridge and modern appliances. Cooking meals is a pleasure in this kitchen. The apartment consists of an air conditioned living room with sofa bed where two extra people can sleep at an additional cost of Euro 80 per person, per week. There is a TV and stereo, a small bathroom, one air conditioned double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a bath tub and shower. Framing this beautiful apartment is a large terrace with outdoor table with chairs for relaxing evenings under the light of the moon. You access to La Vite through a lane of about 500 meters and approximately 80 steps. Free parking is possible on the road about 500 meters from the apartment.

A car would be useful, but not necessary as there is a frequent bus that loops Praiano and Positano every hour until late, whilst to reach Amalfi and Sorrento you will simply catch a bus which runs along the main road, reached by a ramp of about 200 steps. There is a grocery shop located about 600 meters (10 minutes walk) from La Vite, or through the 200 steps, or by the shuttle bus you which loops Praiano and Positano you can find other shops and attactions. Free Adsl-Internet service available at this apartment.

Location

The apartment is in the higher part of Praiano. The restaurants, bars and beach are within walking distance, in about 10 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes.

Parking and accessibility

The apartment is accessible by a deep flight of steps from the closer parking area (circa 150 steps) plus walking about 100 meters by foot, NOT idial at all for people with walking problems. The apartment is also reacheable via an alternative way of 80 steps and 300 meters of path from the local bus stop and private parking area. It is located on the ground floor. Parking is possible for free on the communal street at 300 metres far or, depending on the availability, at a close-by private parking area at Euro 12 per day (needs to be booked in advance).

Arriving in Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.

Were satisfied with the work of your agent, Domenico Gagliano. Responsive. Special thanks to him. Of the minuses is something we had to wash the floor after the previous guests. In other villa is fully consistent with what suggested on the official website, home furnishings. Quiet location, all the neighbors were friendly. We were given a separate parking for our car for a small fee. Can be safely recommend this villa to my friends.
