General description of apartment Villa Margie

The villa Margie is set in a fantastic position in the village of Praiano, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Vettica Maggiore. The Sita bus stop, the restaurants, the bars and groceries are nearby.
The fantastic view over Capri, Positano and Capri and Li Galli islands will seduce you. You'll surely enjoy the nice terrace equipped with table and chairs and two sun beds where enjoy the sun and evening dinners.
In order to reach the villa you'll have to walk circa 40 steps and 200 meters from the area where parking is allowed. You are not able to access the villa by car but because of that, the tranquility is guaranteed.
The walk to the village center is about 200 steps, if you don't want to use your car or the local bus. Parking facilities might be available with advanced reservation is at 12 Euros per day. It is advisable to make parking arrangements prior to your arrival as the private parking is really limited.
The villa faces west gives you the opportunity to enjoy the evening sun and can admire wonderful sunsets behind the "Faraglioni" of Capri.
Staying at our Villa, means fully enjoy the wonders of the Coast; Amalfi, Capri, Ravello, Sorrento and Positano real gems of this world, are at easy reach.
The villa feature two bedrooms each with a special and unique character. One matrimonial room has a large window and en-suite bathroom with shower and washer, the other matrimonial room has a door that opens on the large terrace and has a small bathroom with shower. The large entry living room feature a TV with SAT international channels and a sofa that can be turned in a comfortable single bed, it has also a beautiful kitchenette with 4 burners stove and electric oven, well equipped with all modern appliances, including the dishwasher. The dining table has six chairs.
The architecture of the villa dates back to the 17th century and all of the romantic and dramatic details shine through today and is characterized by dramatic high arches and all rooms have domed roofs in the authentic style of this region. Its original charm and elegance has been kept, yet all modern conveniences one would expect can be found here.
While at the villa you might enjoy full breakfast on the terrace or can use the near Villa Il Frantoio that offer to our guests an optional full buffet breakfast for euro 12 per person. Advanced reservation is required. The Villa Il Frantoio staff is also available for suggestions and book taxis or excursions for you and have an open bar during the day and evening.

Position

The apartment is in the higher part of Praiano. The restaurants, bars and beach are within walking distance, in about 10 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes.

Parking and accessibility

The apartment is accessible by a short flight of steps (circa 50 steps) plus walking about 200 meters y foot It is located on the first floor. Parking is possible for free on the communal streel at 300 metres far or, depending on the availability, at a close-by private parking area at euro 12 per day (needs to be booked in advance).

How to arrive to Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano.Once reached Praiano village centre you need to drive towards San Luca church and park your car on via Costantinopoli Vettica Maggiore.
Il Frantoio is located at 300 meters on via Francesco Russo n. 36, in a pedestrian area, not reachable by car.
