General description of apartment 1.Villa Lina

Villa Lina is located by the centre of Praiano, in the best spot of the village to enjoy one of the most fantastic sunset of the world! The villa is one of the closest house over the sea, by the panoramic tower of Grado. It is in a very quiet position as the only noises you can hear with the open windows will be the sea, the birds, the fishermen boats and the nice neighbors, but for sure no cars'.
Walking some like 300 steps, you will get to the beach of La Gavitella in Praiano, perhaps one of the most enchanting and sunny rocky bays in Italy, and the most peaceful neighborhood of the town. If you wish instead seclusion, you can walk down from the villa some like 250 steps and reach the sea by the Torre di Grado where you will find a concrete platform from which you can bathe, located just below the house at 5 minutes walk. From this inlet you will be able to dive. It is a very striking spot, not very well known at all, and visited just by a few locals.
You reach the property climbing down circa 120 steps and a path of 150 meters, passing by the majestic Church of San Gennaro, for sure one of the most fascinating parts of the town, where lifestyle is simpler and more discreet. The property features simple but functional furnishings and there is 1 matrimonial bedroom with a king size bed and Air/Conditioning, wardrobe and terrace with sea view and two deck chairs, one twin bedroom (no Air/Cond), 1 bathroom with bath-tub, a huge kitchen equipped with 4 burner gas stove, fridge and freezer, electric oven, dining table with chairs; the living-room has two comfortable armchairs and a convertible divan bed that can sleeps two young children (not ideal for adults)  and TV. Separated from the house there is also a small garden shaded by a wine yard pergola that can be used in the beautiful weather condition to get some fresh breeze during the warm summer days. Grocery shops, butcher, fish market, bars and restaurants can be found on the main road and most of the stores offer the deliver to your door, requesting the service at the salesman.
If you'll drive to Praiano, even though we would disincentive you for this specific villa, you can park your car at 500 meters from the property, free of charge, in the town parking lot. You can take advantage of the frequent bus service to Positano, Amalfi, the beaches and other destinations, walking to the main road: there are two companies serving the area: the local minibus of Flavio Gioia and the SITA bus. From the main beach of La Praia or the pier of Positano, you can board boats to Capri, Amalfi, Salerno and Naples.

The apartment is in the central part of Praiano in the enchanting bay of Torre Grado. The restaurants, bars and beach are reacheable within walking distance, in about 5 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes.

Parking and accessibility

The property is located on the first floor of a small building. Parking is possible for free on the communal street at 500 metres far from the house.

Arriving in Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.

Villa Lina was exactly what was described. The apartment was very clean, all linens were provided. The internet stick rented, worked well. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we enjoyed everyday a nice breakfast with freshly baked bread, cookies, honey, Italian cheese and so much more on our cozy balcony overlooking the Priano stone watch tower and the sea. We couldn't ask for more. We did not use a rental car but we arranged for a driver for both directions from and to the airport at a reasonable price. It was about 3 min. walk to the nearest bus stop and the steps did not bother us. I only have positive things about  the apartment . The price was very good and I cannot complain about anything with regards to the apartment. Your service was really helpful.
