General description of villa Villa Bella

Villa Bella stands on a cliff above the Praia beach, which is at a short distance, in the village of Praiano, in an unique and spectacular view which will leave you breathless. The villa terraces offer spectacular sunrise and sunset views overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and the Saracen Tower of Praiano. The villa is easily reached directly from the Amalfi Coast road, at 60 steps from it. It consists of three double bedrooms and one single bedroom (the single is on request), a large living area with an old Vietri ceramic floor, with a double sofa-bed, satellite-TV and wireless Internet DSL line, two bathrooms with shower, a full equipped kitchen, a laundry room with washing-machine and air conditioning / heating in each room. The price includes a cleaning-service of 2 hours a day twice a week, and bath-linen change twice a week. The nearby beach of La Praia offers several typical restaurants that serve excellent local dishes, bars, boat rentals, a scuba-diving centre; you can also board the ferry to Capri, all at 2 minutes walk down. By the villa there is a bus stop which connects Praiano to Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and Sorrento. Parking in private garage is possible at 5 minutes walk (250 meters). Cost is about Euro 100 per week, depending on the car size. Praiano centre, the nearest village, offers at 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes walk, grocery stores, butcher shop, emporium, ATM services, restaurants, bars and other services. During summer time, several events are held in the main squares of San Luca and San Gennaro. Amalfi is 8 km away, Positano 6 km, Sorrento 20 km and Ravello 12 km. Trekkers can enjoy several excellent trails in the area, one of which starts by the villa. Price includes: bathroom linen change and house cleaning twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday morning). Extra mandatory weekly costs to be paid on premises at arrival Euro 120,00 Euro for cleaning and linen and 80,00 Euro for electricity. Refundable deposit: 500 Euro.

Position

The villa is situated in the area of La Praia beach in a great position on the top of a cliff, overlooking the bay and cuddled by the fishermen boats passing by.

Parking and accessibility

Parking is very easy on the main road and is only at 50 meters from the entrance of the villa. The villa access is trough an tremendous flight of 35 steps.

How to arrive to Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.
