The apartment Nido lies in the centre of the village of Praiano in the most panoramic spot. From here you can admire the stunning views over the islands of Capri and Li Galli and the village of Positano with its blue sea. The apartment has been recently restored with modern furniture and beautiful Vietri ceramic tiles famous in this area. It is equipped with TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and air conditioning. The apartment consists of a double bedroom, an excellent kitchen with oven and refrigerator, a living room with a sofa bed that can be turned in a single bed to accommodate an extra person at an additional Euro 80 per week. From the living room you access the small but cozy terrace which is equipped with a table and chairs just perfect for a romantic dinner, and from where you can enjoy the most wonderful views. Il Nido is located on the second floor of a building above the main road of the village of Praiano. It is in the heart of the village, close to food shops, bars and restaurants at minutes walk. Also there is a kinder garden nearby and the magnificent square of San Gennaro where local people meet during the afternoon hours to spend a relaxing hour chatting. The SITA bus stop is just 50 meters from the apartment. The SITA public bus company provides a frequent service through all the villages along the Amalfi Coast and also takes you to the pebble beach at Praia, where you will find several restaurants providing excellent local fish dishes. Here you can also hire small boats for romantic trips along the delightful coast. Positano is about 6 kms away and we advise you to use the public transport to avoid the difficulty and expense of parking. Praiano is a quiet village at the centre of the Amalfi Coast, and from here you can make marvelous trips to Amalfi (10km), Ravello, or in the other direction to Sorrento (23km) and the isle of Capri. From Praiano you can easily get to the best attactions along the Amalfi Coast.

How to arrive to Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.

No use to rent a car for this place as the public transportation are by the apartment; a convenient free parking area is by the house at 150 meters.
