General description of apartment Idillio

Idilio is in a charming section of Praiano filled with little houses, fragrant gardens and colourful locals. This location will provide you with an authentic Italian experience. You can immerse yourself in the beautiful views of the church of Praiano, and admire the picturesque town of Positano while you sip your morning espresso on the terrace. French doors open wide to the terrace from the living room. The living room is both cozy and functional with both a sofa and an extra single bed, a television, and even a desk from which you can write postcards to family and friends. Idilio offers two bathrooms which is rare in an Italian apartment. One has sweet, floral patterned tiles and a mini-tub with a hand held shower. The other is located off the bedroom, and has pretty pink tiles, is renovated and is equipped with a normal shower. In the morning you will awaken to find the sun pouring into the large bedroom. This bedroom provides a beautiful sea view from its window. There is a spacious wardrobe with more than enough room to hang all of your clothes, and a chest of drawers. You can also enjoy a lovely view of the village of Praiano from Idilio's fantastic roof-top terrace. After a long day of sightseeing, cook up a quick plate of spaghetti pomodoro in the galley style eat-in kitchen without missing a single opportunity to enjoy the stunning views. There is also an additional terrace on the side of the house where you can enjoy your lunch while luxuriating in the warm, afternoon sun. Welcome Home to Idilio ! The SITA Bus stop is nearby and it will take you anywhere along the Amalfi Coast that you want or need to go, from Sorrento to Salerno. These buses run quite regularly and you can ask for a timetable at the local Bar, Newsagent or Tourist Office. There is also a regular internal shuttle bus which you board from the same bus stop. This bus takes you, literally, around Praiano and down to one of its splendid beaches, La Praia, it runs regularly in the summer months to Positano and back, until midnight. Quite simply, staying at Idilio will give you the opportunity to truly experience the magnificent Amalfi Coast. The views from this apartment should not be underestimated. You have a choice of two terraces from which to enjoy the landscapes while you relax. If you are travelling with small children you can take advantage of the park nearby, or do what the local mothers do, and take your kids to the main piazza of the Church of San Gennaro. Every evening the locals meet and catch up with one another while the children play under their watchful eye. Everything you need is within walking distance so a car is really not necessary. The apartment consists of a master bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with one single bed and a sofa bed which sleeps one extra person for an additional cost of 70 euros per person, per week. The second bedroom has a terrace which also serves as a living area as it is equipped with a couch and TV and, of course, fantastic views of the coast. The kitchen is tidy and includes a dining table and chairs. There is also a washing machine for your added convenience. Heating is available if required. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath tub. Idilio will enchant you with its simplicity and breathtaking vistas. The price indicated is based on 3 person occupancy, the extra sofa bed will be an additional charge of 70 euros per week.

Location

Idilio is located in the central part of Praiano. Restaurants, bars and beaches are all within a walking distance of approximately 5 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes.

Parking and accessibility

The apartment is accessible via a short flight of steps (approximately 15 steps). It is located on the first floor of a small building. Parking is free when possible on the communal street 200 meters away.

Arriving in Praiano

By car, from the airport in Naples take the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At this exit do not turn right, go straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, in Meta, turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 km past Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar del Sole, located in the centre of the village.
