General description of apartment Idillio

Idillio is in a cute section of Praiano filled with little houses, fragrant gardens, colourful locals, it will really provide you with an authentic Italian experience. You can immerse yourself in the beautiful views of the church of Praiano, and admire the picturesque town of Positano while sipping your morning espresso on the terrace. French doors open wide to the terrace from the living room. The living room is cozy and functional with both a sofa and an extra single bed, a television, and even a desk on which to write your postcards. Idillio offers two bathrooms which is rare in an Italian apartment. One has sweet floral patterned tiles and a mini-tub with a handheld shower. The other is located off the bedroom, and has pretty pink tiles. It is renovated, and is equipped with a normal shower. Wake up to the sun in the morning, pouring into the large bedroom. This bedroom enjoys a sea view from its window. There is a spacious wardrobe with plenty of space to hang all of your clothes, and a chest of drawers. You can also enjoy a beautiful view of the village of Praiano from the fantastic roof terrace of Idillio. After a long day of sightseeing you can cook up a quick plate of spaghetti pomodoro in the galley style eat-in kitchen while not missing a moment of the views. There is also a second terrace on the side of the house where you can enjoy your lunch in the sun. Welcome home to Idillio! The bus stop nearby is serviced by the SITA bus company, which will take you anywhere along the Amalfi Coast that you need to go, from Sorrento to Salerno. These buses run quite regularly and you can ask for a timetable at the local Bar, Newsagent, or Tourist Office. There is also a regular internal shuttle bus which can be boarded from the same bus stop. This bus takes you around Praiano and down to one of its splendid beaches called La Praia, and runs regularly in the summer months to Positano and back, right up until midnight. Quite simply, staying at Idillio will give you the opportunity to really experience the magnificent Amalfi Coast. The views from this apartment should not be underestimated. You have a choice of two terraces from which to sit, relax and enjoy. If you have small children you can take advantage of the park nearby, or do what the local mothers do and take your kids to the main piazza of the Church of San Gennaro. Every evening the locals meet and catch up with one another while their children play under their watchful eye. Everything you need is within walking distance so a car is really not necessary. The apartment consists of a master bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with one single bed and a comfortable sofa bed that could sleep 1 extra person for an additional cost of Euro 70 per week per person. The second sleepen room has a terrace and also serves as a living area because there is a couch and TV and great views of the coast. The kitchen is tidy and well equipped with a dining table and chairs there is also a washing machine. Heating is available if required. There are two bathrooms one with a shower and the other with a bath tub. Idillio will charm you with its simplicity and breathtaking views. The price indicated is based on 3 people occupancy; the additional bed in the sofa bed will be charged at Euro 70 per week.

Position

The apartment is in the central part of Praiano. The restaurants, bars and beach are within walking distance, in about 5 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes.

Parking and accessibility

The apartment is accessible by a short flight of steps (circa 15 steps). It is located on the first floor
of a small building. Parking is possible for free on the communal street at 200 metres far.

How to arrive to Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.

Extra info

A car is not useful as the apartment is close to the centre of the village and but there is a good public transportation system by the SITA bus company and the local Falvio Gioa bus that loops Positano and Praiano.
