General description of apartment Gli Ulivi

Apartment Ulivi is located in the centre of the village of Praiano, 60 steps from the main road and Praiano ’ s heart where bars, restaurants and shops are located. This is a great base for excursions to the other villages of the coast such as Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento and Capri. There is a bus stop just two minutes walk away, which is used by both the local company that loops Praiano and Positano during the summer, spring and autumn, and the SITA company which connects the whole Amalfi Coast. Positano from here is only 15 minutes by bus, and Amalfi in the other direction about 20 minutes away. To reach the island of Capri you can get the bus to Positano, walk to the port and catch a ferry boat to the island. From Ulivi you can enjoy the quiet charm of the coast as it is located in a pedestrian area not hugely crowded by tourists. But when you want, you can easily plunge into the tourist life as everything is close at hand, just by taking a few steps. Apartment Ulivi is accessed from the main road by ascending 50 steps. You enter the house through a corridor into a large living room with a terrace and a large window overlooking the isle of Capri, and its famous Faraglioni rocks which are clearly visible on the horizon. You can also see from here the Island of Li Galli and the stunning village of Positano which lights up in a stunning way at night. The living room is equipped with TV with Italian channels, a fireplace, a sofa that can be turned into a comfortable single bed at an additional cost of euro 80 per week. In the centre of the room is a dining table and chairs. Looking from the living room through the glass doors and the window you will see only sea and sky and the great panorama of the coastline. From the living room you through the corridor are to the two bedrooms. Both are spacious and comfortable, one containing a double bed and the other one two twins beds. Both bedrooms have glass doors from which to enter a private terrace with a view of the sea. Next to the bedrooms are two bathrooms with showers. Further down the corridor you will find a well equipped kitchen with four-burner cooker, an oven, a refrigerator with freezer, and a microwave oven. This apartment has been furnished with taste. The efficient kitchen is ideal for a family trip. The apartment is only five minutes walk for groceries, or this store offers a food delivery service. A car is not necessary if you stay at Ulivi, because the house is very close to the efficient bus transportation service.

Parking and accessibility

Praiano is famous for its steps. This particular apartment is just one simple flight of stairs to your front door. You can park your car at 150 meters, free of charge.

How to arrive to Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.

Extra info

A car is not useful as the apartment is close to the centre of the village and but there is a good public transportation system by the SITA bus company and the local Falvio Gioa bus that loops Positano and Praiano.
