General description of apartment Gavitella Studio

Gavitella Studio is a self catering apartment in Praiano, located in the centre of the village in a very quiet area, at 5 minutes walk from the main road (about 250 meters) and close to the beach of La Gavitella that has 2 busy and very nice restaurants with bar and has sun beds that can be rented during your stay.
La Gavitella Studio has a fantastic view over Positano and the islands of Capri and Li Galli. It has been recently refurbished and everything is new and functional, consisting of entry room with 2 couches an a small kitchenette closed in cupboard with 2 burner stove, cutlery, dishes and fridge, a bathroom with shower, an air conditioned bedroom with TV. The bedroom has access to the stunning terrace with sea view. The beautiful terrace has deckchairs and a table with chairs.
You access the apartment walking from the centre of the village walking down 5 minutes, very few steps (about 15 only a rarity for the area!!!). To get down to the beach you have to climb down 350 steps about 10 minutes walk.
Free parking is possible on the road at about 500 meters from the apartment. Yet, when renting this apartment we discourage you to rent a car, because its great location allows you to get up and down the public bus transportations of SITA to Amalfi and Ravello and local bus to the beaches of Positano.
There are quality food stores an information centre, exquisite restaurants and bars at only 250 meters from the apartment (5 minutes walk).

Location

The apartment is in the central part of Praiano. The restaurants, bars and beach are within walking distance, in about 5 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes.

Parking and accessibility

The apartment is accessible by a short flight of steps (circa 15 steps) and walking about 200 meters from the main road. It is located on the first floor of a small building. Parking is possible for free on the communal street at 400 metres far from the house.

Arriving in Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.
