General description of apartment Al Gabbiano

The Gabbiano apartment is located in the upper part of the village of Praiano, between the Squares of Costantinopoli, where you can park your car free of charge, and the Square of Antico Seggio where you can board the local bus to reach Praiano's beaches and the town of Positano.
Gabbiano is a perfect location for a relaxing holiday as it is situated in a quiet area. This self catering apartment consists of an entry room with a fully equipped kitchen; three burner gas stove, an electric oven, sink and clothes washer. You can access the private sea view terrace from this room by way of a three step ramp.
The double bedroom (which can converts to twin beds) has a balcony with sea view. It features a sofa, flat screen TV and wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and small window with a view of the glimmering ocean and scenic Praiano.
The best feature of this apartment is without a doubt, the small terrace which overlooks Praiano providing a 360 ' sea view. During most of the day the terrace is kissed by the sun. At twilight it is a perfect spot for an intimate, romantic dinner.
The apartment features air conditioning, and has recently been restored and refurbished.
The SITA bus serves the area and can be accessed from within a km of Gabbiano with service to the entire Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples.
A grocery shop is just a two minute walk and it's just a 10 minute walk to the town centre where you will discover fine restaurants serving fresh, local traditional foods, bustling bars and additional shoppes.

Parking and accessibility: The apartment is accessible via a short flight of steps (approximately 50 steps) plus about a 50 meter walk. It is located on the first floor. Parking is convenient and free of charge on the communal street about 150 meters away.

Arriving in Praiano

By car, from the airport in Naples take the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At this exit do not turn right, go straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, in Meta, turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 km past Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar del Sole, located in the centre of the village.

Just got back from the Amalfi Coast and this was one of our nicest  holiday ever! Our agent was welcoming and the apartment is  good, clean, and just what you need for a great and fun holiday.

We were only  10 mins walk from the hub of Vettica Maggiore and the beach.  It was pleasant to return home in the tranquil  area where our apartment is for a pleasant and good night’s sleep with no noise.

Praiano is lovely and well organized and has some fun nights’ bars. The restaurant food at the nearby hotel Margherita restaurant was  great and not pricy. We would definitely return and recommend this apartment.
