Casa Verde is in the most perfect spot of the village of Praiano, embraced by the splendid vista of the Positano bay and its lavish, luxuriant garden abundant of colorful flowers, ethnical plants and palm trees.
It consists in the entire ground floor of a detached apartment of an historical two stories building locate in the enchanting town of Praiano. It is located just in the centre at a mere 50 meters through the town's captivating pathways, at couple of minute walk to bus stop, restaurants, bars, food stores and service of the village. The villa is rich in tradition, ancient in age. Dome vaults endow two levels with artistic architectural elements and it is the ground floor of its sister, prestigious apartments Casa Blue.
The Casa Verde offers a separate entrance directly from the pretty pathway. It is bright and spacious and allows breathtaking vistas of the splendid sapphire Sea as well as Positano, the Faraglioni of Capri and the famed Li Galli islands. From the villa a picturesque stairway of approximately 500 meters leads you to beautiful La Gavitella beach. The unit is furnished with fastidious attention to detail emphasizing the aesthetic ambience of the Amalfi Coast. From any vantage point you admire splash's of Mediterranean blue against bright white walls, colorful tiles and splendid, natural floral. Private outdoor dining is available. Dinner under the night sky, luminous with shimmering stars will delight you. The villa will nestle you in its serenity, nurturing your senses amid the sweet garden fragrances. And when you choose, you are in close proximity to the village and it's restaurants, bars and shops. The unit features a bathroom with fully enclosed shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a hairdryer, a beautiful Vietri colorful tiled kitchen equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and other small appliances and a cloth-washer, one The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches). The furnishings include two armchairs. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television . The living room is paved with terracotta tiles and include a sofa and two separate divan beds for two guests (additional cost applies), a large flat-screen satellite television a fire place. The furnishings are elegant and include some antique pieces. The living room has doors to the fantastic, abundant private garden offering a large table and six chairs shaded by the old-fashion porch of the villa, deck-chairs to enjoy your summer days laying in the sun, among the luxuriant vegetation.

Location

The villa is in the central part of Praiano. The restaurants, bars and beach are within walking distance, in about 5 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes.

Parking and accessibility

The villa is accessible by a short flight of steps (circa 15 steps) and walking about 200 meters from the main road. Parking is possible for free on the communal street at 400 metres far from the house.

Arriving in Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.

Casa Verde was beautiful and a brilliant location for our family holiday. We have two teenage children and the villa was perfect with its outside and inside space as well as proximity to shops, transport and beach. The price was a little higher than we were wanting to pay, but, it was a week of luxury we really enjoyed! The garden and views along the coast are stunning. I would recommend this and to a friend - great base to explore the Amalfi coast.

We stayed at Casa Verde in June 2011 for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Locals are very friendly and extremely helpful. We stayed with our family with two kids who enjoyed the nearby square of San Gennaro where they could easily walk to without fear of the street traffic. The apartment is large, very clean and provide all luxuries. We had even a washer and air conditioning was not lacking.
Location is perfect. It's in the middle of town, close to supermarket, all type of shops and restaurants. The beach is close... yet 350 steps to go! The Casa is withdrawn from street hussle and bussle. Yes, we could have happily stayed here for a longer period!
