General description of apartment Adelaide

Adelaide is a pretty apartment of about 50 s.m. that can accommodate up to 3 people. The apartment is in the older part of Praiano, near the Church of San Luca, in a great position with only one step to enter it, a rarity for Praiano. The other great feature is the nearby reserved parking place our guests can take advantage of (price is euro 10/daily, on request).
The property is distributed on two levels, connected by ramp of stairs; you enter the house using a flight of steps and reach the bright living room with sofa bed for one person, a modern fitted kitchenette with a beautiful oven, a 4 gas burner stove, a dish-washer a huge fridge (compared to Italian standards) and refrigerator/freezer and a sea view balcony with a small table you can use to enjoy a coffee under the stars; climbing up another flight of stairs from the living room, you'll get to the beautiful and elegant matrimonial bedroom, featuring the double bed and wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower, the sea view balcony with two sun beds with views over Conca Dei Marini and Salerno bay.
During your stay at Adelaide, you will be close to one of the most typical beaches of the Amalfi Coast, the beach of Praia. The beach spreads from the base of a narrow gorge enclosed by high rocky walls deeply incised by erosion. To reach the beach you can take the local bus which stops about 10 meters (approximately 33 feet) away from the villa.
However, don't miss the chance of going to beach on foot at least once if you are in good shape: you can descend from the villa until the State Road through shortcuts consisting of stairways. Once you have crossed the State Road, you will have to go along a picturesque pedestrian foot path goes past the medieval Tower and descends towards the sea through a trail dug along the rocks. The breathtaking scenery will compensate the workout to go along the way. Rendering the walk even more pleasant, once you have arrived at the beach, are the small bars and restaurants which feature tables on rocks caressed by the waters of the sea...
The local minibus stops at the beach of Praia, Praiano centre village and Positano. The SITA bus stop is at 600 meter from the apartment.
You can buy your grocery to the close-by shop, located at only 1 minute walk (about 60 meters far). The centre of the village can be reached by walking circa for 10 minutes (at 1km away) where you can enjoy the cheerful bars, pizzeria, more food shops, fish-shop and butcher.

Location

The apartment is in the upper older part of Praiano. The restaurants, bars and beach are within walking distance, in about 15 minutes. Positano and Amalfi can be reached by bus or car in 15 minutes. To get to the villa you need to walk only a couple of steps.

Parking and accessibility

The apartment is accessible directly by the street, no steps. It is located on the first and seconf floor of the building. Parking is easily possible for free on the communal streel at 150 metres far or reserving the private lot at Euro 10/daily.

Arriving in Praiano

By car, from the airport of Naples use the A3 Salerno Reggio Calabria to Castellammare di Stabia. At the exit, don't turn right, but keep on going straight towards Sorrento. On the way to Sorrento, once in Meta turn left to Positano and Amalfi. Praiano is about 5 kms after Positano. Our usual meeting point will be the Bar Del Sole, located in the centre of the village.
