Villa Hellen is a recently restored semi-detached villa in the hearth of Positano. Located on the cliff, overlooking the beautiful main beach of Positano and the bay with the active boat traffic. The house is a fascinating place to be, decorated in modern functional Italian style, floors with colourful Vietri tiles and local world-wide famous terracotta, ideal for a family of 4 people. Set on 2 floors, it has two bedrooms, one twin room at the entrance and a separate matrimonial bedroom on the same floor, access though a steep ramp of stairs to the lower floor where you will have the bathroom with shower, with bidet, toilet and shower, at the same floor living room with sofa and TV, kitchen with all modern appliances, a panoramic terrace with tiled table and 4 chairs with view on the bay, then at a lower level there is also a little garden with table and 4 chairs and barbeque. To enjoy the beach life and all tourist attractions of the enchanting Positano, you will only need to walk down some steps on Via Monte (about 200), or, if you do not want to walk the steps, you can also get to the road level walking up 70 steps and catch the local bus to the town centre, looping Positano every 15 minutes. Staying at villa Hellen, you will spend your vacation in an authentic ancient house of Positano, located in one of the most beautiful spots of this famous village. You will have, for your private use, a lovely terrace from where your sight will embrace the whole bay of Positano, from the cliff the steeply drops down to the sea, to the beach, to the sea. At Villa Hellen you will be right in the middle of Positano's happy vacation life. You will have right at hand the beach, where many cultural and tourist happenings take place, the most famous and elegant bars, restaurants and night clubs, and the many shops that fill the narrow alleys of the centre with colour. The docks, where you can board the ferries to Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, and the mini-cruises in the gulf of Naples, are at ten minutes. You will have a hard time escaping the magic of this place, and as soon as you have left, your only thoughts will be to when you will return. From here walking ten minutes up the main road, you will be able to easily reach the bus stop of the SITA, where you can catch the buses that connect Positano to Naples, Pompeii, Salerno and Paestum. We heavily suggest not to come by car to stay here. Unit Description Apartment of 80 square meters (860 square feet), plus circa 50 meters of outdoor space, sleeps four people. It has a great view of the sea, and pedestrian access to the beach and the centre walking down steps (about 200) or can go to the road walking up 70 steps and use the road or the bus. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds; these can be found at the entrance floor. Access to the lower floor via a steep ramp of steps where there is one large living room with dining area and television; on this same floor you will find a very beautiful bathroom with shower decorated with Vietri ceramic tiles and access to the terrace equipped with table and 4 chairs; at a lower floor a small garden with table and chairs. The kitchen is connected to the living room, and it is equipped with a large refrigerator with freezer, a 4 burner gas cooker, oven and hood fan, kettle, microwave, toaster, mixer and of course dishes and cutlery. A washing machine can be found in the terrace service-bathroom. This second bathroom has a toilet and a basin. The living room has large panoramic doors. The terrace of this self catering villa in Positano has a wide view of the sea and of Positano. The furnishing is brand new and comfortable. To reach the house, which is in the centre of Positano, you have to walk down 70 steps from the hotel Villa Franca - villa amica positano; not suggest at all to reach this place by car. Best choice is to come by taxi and use the public transportation.
