General description of apartment Seashore Positano

Positano Seashore apartment is the closest apartment of Spiaggia Grande beach. You can easily get anywhere form here, you have everything close at hand , being in the hearth of the village attractions.
This beautiful recently restored e apartment is centrally situated at only few meters from the sea and the port from which various ferries leave for Naples, Capri, Sorrento and Amalfi.
Also within easy walking distance is the local bus stop for the Positano bus service, whilst the main Sita bus company stop is at 10 minutes walk, on the main coastal road SS163 to Amalfi and Sorrento.
The apartment is in one the top position of Positano just below the main Church of l'Assunta on the pedestrian path leading to the beach. It features two beautiful balconies that faces directly the main beach: imagine yourself on your balcony as you enjoy a barmy morning eating breakfast and sipping coffee. The sea looks as blue as the sky - the sounds of early morning drift upwards as the friendly locals greet each other. How lucky to have such a great place to stay just a short stroll to the sea, boats across the harbor, cafes and delicious ice creams; not to mention when you'll be able to relax and see the Sunset over the island of Li Galli. When you enter the vacation property there is in a cozy living room / dining area with table and chairs; this room also features a sitting sofa that can be used as an extra single bed: on the side of the living/dining area there is the well equipped kitchenette with all modern appliances, 4 burner stove, fridge-freezer, dish-washer, oven and microwave. The apartment has a Master bedroom with a king size bed and balcony overlooking the beach and a twin bedroom with two single beds and window with view over the sea, one full bathroom with shower and a toilet with washing-machine, for a total of 70 square meters. The apartment also features Satellite-Tv, Air conditioning, Heating, Ironing equipment, tea/coffee making facilities. Please note that a cash security deposit of €250 will be requested at arrival and will be be refunded at check out, if no damages have occurred to the property.

Location

Seashore Positano is situated in the centre of Positano on the beach with fantastic views over the colorful houses of the village. It is at only seconds to the main beach and the shopping area. Grocery, bars, restaurant, the pier and main attractions of the area are all at walking distance.

Parking and accessibility

Seashore is reachable by a walking path from the main private parkings of circa 200 meters. the number of steps is limited (circa 40). Paying parking is possible in private public garages at 200 meters from the apartment. Free parking is at circa 1 km. It is wiser to get here either by taxi or ferries.

Arriving in Positano

We suggest to avoid to get to Positano by car, as the only parking possibility is by paying in private garages. Public transportation means are efficient and numerous. You can use the SITA bus company from Sorrento to Salerno, the local bus Flavio Gioia and the various ferry-boat companies that are available between Naples and Salerno, Capri and Amalfi. We can organize also a taxi transfer from the airport of Naples directly to the apartment.

All the people we met couldn't believe the beach front location and how charming our apartment was, the balconies, flowers, etc., the owner, was very detailed and accommodating. My wife and I are clean freaks, but this owner takes clean to a whole new level. He want's you to check out early, so his cleaning person has a full six hours to prepare the apartment, should he have a someone checking in the same day that you are leaving. Although I hate getting up early, it's worth it to get such an immaculate, elegant and desirably located apartment. This and the estate we rented in Arezzo were the neck and neck highlights of our 26 day stint. Ciao, The Nelson Family
