General description of apartment Gioconda

This delightful house is located in the village of Furore is about 8 km from the town of Amalfi and its beaches. Fuore is known as "the painted village" thanks to its many wonderful murals visible throughout the area. A famous example completely covers the side of a house and was painted by the famed Ortolani.
Gioconda is located 500 meters from a SITA bus stop. The town centre of Furore is just 1 km from the apartment. Here you will find everything you will need. A pharmacy, food stores, fruit and vegetable stores and a bar/cafe.
Gionconda is an ideal apartment for a couple. It is very comfortable and has recently been refurbished. It is one of the very few, rare apartments with a car parking space on the premises. The apartment consists of 1 bedroom. a kitchenette. lounge/dining area with a TV. and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is reverse cycle air conditioning and a radio sound system which can be heard throughout the apartment. The terrace can be accessed via the lounge/dining room or the bedroom. The terrace overlooks Fuore and the sapphire sea. It is one of the most dramatic views along the Amalfi Coast.

Location

A car can be useful here as the villa is not very close to the centre of the village, but there is a good public transportation system. Parking is convenient, about 50 meters away.

Arriving in Furore

From Naples airport to Gionconda in Furore on the Amalfi Coast, take the Autostrada (highway) A3 as if you were going to Salerno/Vietri. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the long, straight road. Go through a tunnel. When you exit the tunnel, go right to Gragnano-Agerola and follow the signs to Amalfi. After making this right turn you will be in the outskirts of Gragnano. Do not enter Gragnano, go right towards Agerola. Follow the directions to Amalfi, after 4km stop at the intersection marking directions to Tovere. Here you will meet our representative.

The only thing to improve is the fact that the dishes were not perfectly clean when we got there. We had to wash them before we use it. Overall, we were very satisfied with this place
