This delightful independent house, located in the village of Furore, is about 8 km from the town of Amalfi and its beaches. Furore in the summer months is one of the most organized villages on the Amalfi Coastline and there are many festivals and cultural events held here. Furore is also home to a famous hotel resort: a five star establishment that has a reputation as being one of the most well known and better equipped resorts on the Amalfi Coastline. It has three heated swimming pools, tennis courts, 5 a side soccer court, a beauty centre, gym and fitness centre all of which is open to the public and is about 1 km from the apartment Gioconda. Furore is known as the "painted village" thanks to its many wonderful murals seen throughout the area, some famous, like the one painted by the famous painter Ortolani which completely covers one side of a house. Gioconda is located 500 meters from a SITA bus stop. The town centre of Furore is located just 1 km from the apartment where you will find everything you need: a pharmacy, clothes stores, food stores, fruit & vegetable stores and a bar/cafe. Gioconda is ideal for a couple, is very comfortable, and has recently been refurbished. It is one of the very few apartments you will find with a car parking space inside the premises. The apartment consists of 1 bedroom, a kitchenette, lounge/dinning area with a TV, and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is reverse cycle air conditioning and a radio system which can be heard throughout the apartment. The terrace can be accessed by the lounge/dining room or the bedroom, and overlooks Furore and the ocean with one of the most panoramic views along the Amalfi Coast. How to arrive to Furore

In order to get from Naples airport to Furore to the apartment Gioconda on the Amalfi coast, follow these instructions: Take Autostrada (highway) A3 as if you were going to Salerno/Vietri. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the long straight road, then after that, go through a tunnel. At the exit of this first tunnel, go right to Gragnano-Agerola and follow the signs to Amalfi. After this turn, you will get to the beginning of the town of Gragnano: do not enter it, go right towards Agerola. After the village of Agerola, follow the road direction Amalfi and after 4 km, stop where is the intersection direction Tovere. Here you can meet our representative.

A car can be useful to get here as the villa is not so close to the centre of the village, but there is a good public transportation system; parking is easy by the property at 50 meters far.
