This is a charming villa of 250 square metres that sleeps up to 6+2 persons. Villa Dimane is located in Pastena near Amalfi at about 100 steps from the road where you will find a bus stop and parking. This villa has one of the most panoramic views of the Amalfi Coastline starting from Penisola Cilentana and spanning across Maiori, Amalfi and Ravello. The village where Villa Dimane is located around the Church of Saint Assunta that dates back to the 1400’s. You can admire its cross-domed roof and bell tower with its traditional green tiled roof and beautiful terrace. Pastena is an agricultural village where lemons are grown so there is an amazing scent that fills the air. The villa is one of the most peaceful places in the area. Tucked away from the noise of traffic but only 20 minutes from the splendid beaches and the town centre of Amalfi, this place is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The village is a favourite among the people who stay and live here because of its tranquillity and the fact that it is an easy place to discover and explore from, at your leisure. Villa Dimane was first built at the turn of last century, redolent of the style of the traditional houses of the area with domed ceilings and arched porches. The house was recently restructured and refurnished and has terrific terraces and gardens that partially surround the villa along with a well equipped kitchen. The villa is on three floors, each one having separate access to the exit of the house while the two main floors (first and second) are connected with an internal staircase. First floor: The entrance is connected to a spacious lounge furnished with a lounge suite, TV-Sat, fireplace and a large dining table and access through an archway to a porch. There is also a bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, refrigerator, utensils based on a standard Italian kitchen, dishwasher, kettle and a table. Second floor: There is access either from the terrace or from the internal staircase. This floor comprises three double bedrooms, one with a full sized en-suite including a bath tub, plus a further bathroom (with a shower) located down the corridor. Ground floor: There is a bedroom, bathroom, and garden-terrace with views of the coastline. This terrace has an oak tree providing welcome respite from the hot summer days. All the rooms have access to the huge terrace which has amazing views of the coastline. The terrace has a shaded area covered with bamboo sticks in the summer time. Furnished with wicker chairs and couches, you can spend your afternoons relaxing followed by al fresco dining on beautiful Amalfi nights. The villa has central heating available during cooler periods. The villa can be reached by SITA bus from Amalfi that runs every 45 minutes, until midnight. The journey takes 15 minutes. Alternatively, there are public parking spaces available on the road. The prices shown are based on a six people occupancy. The 2 extra beds are an additional Euro 100 per week.

How to arrive to Amalfi

In order to get from Naples airport to Pogerola of Amalfi, follow these instructions: Take Autostrada (highway) A3 as if you were going to Salerno/Vietri. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the long straight road, then after that go through a tunnel. At the exit of this first tunnel, go right to Gragnano-Agerola and follow the signs to Amalfi. After this turn, you will get to the beginning of the town of Gragnano: do not enter it, go right towards Agerola. You will go through the towns of Pimonte, then Agerola, then Furore, Conca dei Marini, where there is a famous cloister. Here, pay attention to these instructions: after this cloister in Conca you will go through a tunnel, then after about 1 km, after some bends you will arrive at an intersection to Pogerola/Amalfi about 1 km before the main coast road. Stop at this intersection, do not go on to the main road. Here you will meet the representative who will shows you the apartment.

Extra info

A car can be useful to get here as the villa is not so close to the centre of the village, but there is a good public transportation system; parking is easy by the property at 20 meters far. It is better to reach the apartment by public transportation or by taxi.
