General description of apartment Dolce Vita B

Dolce Vita Apartment B is located in the centre of Amalfi, 20 meters away from the sea and the beach, and 100 meters away from the main square, the "sitting room" of the village, where are situated the famous St. Andrew's Cathedral and many elegant shops, bars and restaurants with tables outdoors. You will find it very pleasant to stop here to enjoy a cappuccino, an Italian ice cream or a "sfogliatella" (the traditional cake of the Amalfi Coast), in front of the splendid and imposing facade of the Cathedral. You will be in the oldest and most central area of Amalfi, right in the heart of all the tourist activities: the promenade along the sea, the beach, the tourist port, and the bus station are all a few feet away.
The property, new restored and well-furnished, is on the second floor (60 steps to climb from the road level ) of an original medieval house which was built attached to the rocky coast. Its facade looks onto the sun and the sea. You will have a fantastic fantastic 180° view which goes from the red roofs found in the historical center, dominated by the fantastic bell-tower of the Duomo, to the beach, which is right below the house, not mentioning the entire bay of Amalfi and the deep blue of the sea. The apartment , equipped with air-conditioning and winter heating, consists of one triple bedroom, living-room, kitchen, two bathrooms and terrace. You will step straight into the kitchen, which actually leads to the living-room. The kitchen is beautiful and comfortable. It's equipped with a four-burner stove, an oven, a fridge, a table and chairs. In the living-room you will have a divan bed which turns into two single beds. There is also a table with chairs and a TV. From the living-room you can reach the small terrace overlooking the sea. The living-room has a patio door which leads to the terrace overlooking the sea. You will feast your eyes on the sea, blue and nearby, and also on the splendid panorama of Amalfi even from inside the house. You reach the spacious triple bedroom from the living-room. The bedroom has a large window which is shut with curtains as it communicates with the living-room. You will have a double bed, a single bed, and a comfortable walk-in closet. There are two bathrooms, both with a spacious shower. In one of the bathrooms you will also have a washing machine. You don't need a car during your stay in Dolce Vita Apartment B, but in case you have one, you can park in a private garage (about euro 16 per day) not far from the house. If you walk for 50 more meters (about 164 feet) you will find the large Flavio Gioia square, with its promenade along the sea, the access to the beaches, and the bus station for the buses that connect all the villages along the coast, including Ravello and Positano, as well as Pompeii and Paestum. Here there is also the pear, where you will be able to board ferries or rent boats to visit the coast from the sea and reach Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples, Salerno. Arriving in Amalfi

Take Autostrada (highway) A3 as if you were going to Salerno/Vietri. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Drive down a long straight road, then after that, through a tunnel. At the exit of this first tunnel, go right to Gragnano-Agerola and follow the signs to Amalfi. After this turn, you will be at the beginning of the town of Gragnano: do not enter it, take a right turn towards Agerola. You will go through the towns of Pimonte, then Agerola, then Furore, Conca dei Marini, where there is a famous cloister. Here, pay attention to these instructions: after this cloister in Conca you will go through a tunnel, then after about 1 km, after some bends you will arrive at an intersection to Pogerola/Amalfi about 1 km before the main coast road. Keep on going towards the coastal road.Then turn right to Amalfi. In the centre of Amalfi, near the taxi stand, there is some space for parking the car for some minutes. That is where you will meet our colleague.

We were really happy with this apartment. The location is amazing and the interior is quite spacious for a 1 bedroom. The sofa in the lounge room is a bit small and uncomfortable for 4 people but, apart from that, we have nothing to complain about. We would recommend.

Great place, close, awesome view, new bathrooms, kitchen well supplied. Would come back again. Very helpful at checking. Knowing parking was up the hill in town would have been nice to know ahead of time, but dropping off and getting car back was easy. Thanks much, we had a great time.

This apartment is in an excellent location, right in the center of Amalfi, suspended on the bay and the main beach. I’d recommend to anyone that wish to stay in the heart of the coast. The kitchen had all we needed and the balcony is terrific (well not a big one, but satisfactory for our needs). The bedroom has new furnishing and the tiles reflect the azure of the ocean. The agency supported us in all questions and needs we had during our stay and organized tours for us. It was a good bonus to have you guys at few feet away from our home… Apologize to have bothered you so many times; you were always gentle and professional. Our agent Romano was a big surprise for us and gave us great directions fro things to do in the area; what a welcome! I will mention you and the apartment Dolce Vita in Amalfi to my friends visiting the Amalfi Coast, without hesitation. Thank you for offering to review this property.
