Andrew is a small Studio attic situated by the Cathedral of Amalfi, the masterpiece of the town, proudly and perfectly preserved by the Amalftan citizenry. The Cathedral's beautiful, dramatic stairway flows into the center of Amalfi's urban activity.
From the rooftop terrace you can gaze at Amalfi's splendid beaches and historic harbor while you enjoy the gentle sea breeze. The apartment, and its location also provides a grand view of the bustling main square. In addition you will be within walking distance of every service necessary, the beach, the bus hub, the pier where you can board the boat to Capri, Positano, Salerno and Naples, and nearby museums and picturesque bars and restaurants.
Andrew cozy Studio is furnishes in a bright modern style. It features one room with a double bed a fitted kitchenette with a table and two chairs, a full bathroom with shower. Internal stairs lead to the panoramic terrace with fantastic views of the sapphire sea, Amalfi's pretty harbor and beach and it's grand Cathedral. The terrace is furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco while enjoying the stunning view and the shimmering Mediterranean Sea, two sun deck chairs.
The enchanting town of Amalfi with its narrow streets, gorgeous open air cafe's and local restaurants serving regional cuisine can be leisurely explored on foot, and there is plenty more to see further afield. Close by are the lovely, whitewashed towns of Positano and Ravello, built loftily on the hillsides, gazing down toward the clear blue sea. You can also enjoy a trip to Mount Vesuvius or the ruins at Pompeii. Sorrento is also well worth a visit, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and delightful maze of shops, cafes and restaurants which are a joy to explore.
The local bus services reaches most of these major attractions and there are also ferry services to the Islands of Capri and Ischia as well as boat trips along the coast.
There are some steps to the apartment (circa 65 from the main square of Amalfi).

This fantastic attic is right in the centre of the town. It has fantastic views over the ocean and close to all available public transportation of the Amalfi Coast (bus, boats, ferries, taxi)

Parking and accessibility

We discourage the use of a car for this apartment, being in a restricted parking area. Yet, if you wish to use your own car, parking cost is about €15 per day, at close by private garages. To get to the property you'll need to walk circa 70 steps from the main square of Amalfi.

Arriving in Amalfi

Take Autostrada (highway) A3 as if you were going to Salerno/Vietri. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Drive down a long straight road, then after that, through a tunnel. At the exit of this first tunnel, go right to Gragnano-Agerola and follow the signs to Amalfi. After this turn, you will be at the beginning of the town of Gragnano: do not enter it, take a right turn towards Agerola. You will go through the towns of Pimonte, then Agerola, then Furore, Conca dei Marini, where there is a famous cloister. Here, pay attention to these instructions: after this cloister in Conca you will go through a tunnel, then after about 1 km, after some bends you will arrive at an intersection to Pogerola/Amalfi about 1 km before the main coast road. Keep on going towards the coastal road.Then turn right to Amalfi. In the centre of Amalfi, near the taxi stand, there is some space for parking the car for some minutes. That is where you will meet our colleague.
