General description of apartment Luna

The self catering apartment Luna is situated in Vettica of Amalfi, just 3 km away from the centre of Amalfi, immersed in the lemon gardens and facing the blue expanse of the sea. This apartment is reachable by 40 steps from the main road, where you can find the bus stop: the buses to the centre of Amalfi run very often until late at night (during the summer period, last bus is at midnight). Some essentials shops (grocery store, a bar and some restaurants) are at walking distance (between 5 and 10 minutes), as well as the most beautiful beaches of the Amalfi Coast (S. Croce and Duoglio), accessible through a flight of steps, walking about 10 minutes, or by car or public transportation driving 5 minutes. In fact, we suggest to come in this area by public transportation, because the parking is not easy on this area. Apartment Luna consists of two bedrooms with double bed, and there is a possibility to add another single bed in one of the bedrooms to be paid extra at Euro 60 per week. Both rooms have a balcony sea view. There are two baths, the first one in white colour with shower and another one in blue colour with Jacuzzi shower. There is a large living kitchen where you can prepare some Italian recipes.
At the entrance of the house there is a large terrace equipped with table ans chairs where you can stay and admire the area with the perfume of flowers.

Location

Luna is situated 3 Km far from the centre of Amalfi, 40 steps far from the road level.

A car can be useful to get here as the villa is not so close to the centre of the village, but there is a good public transportation system, but is better to come without car. It is better to reach the apartment by public transportation or by taxi.

Parking and accessibility

Luna is situated 40 steps far form the road level, free car parking on the road. Possibility to have a private car parking on request.

Arriving in Amalfi

In order to get from Naples airport to Amalfi, follow these instructions: Take Autostrada (highway) A3 as if you were going to Salerno/Vietri. Exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the long straight road, then after that go through a tunnel. At the exit of this first tunnel, turn right towards Gragnano-Agerola and follow the signs to Amalfi. After this turn, you'll be at the beginning of the town of Gragnano: don't enter it, turn right towards Agerola. You'll go through the towns of Pimonte, then Agerola, then Furore, Conca dei Marini, where there is a famous cloister. Here, pay attention to these instructions: after this cloister in Conca you'll go through a tunnel, then after about 1 km, after some bends you'll arrive at an intersection to Pogerola/Amalfi at about 1 km before the main coast road. Follow the directions to Amalfi and after 1Km there is another intersection Amalfi/Sorrento. Stop at this intersection, do not go on to the main road. There you'll be met by our representative who will help you with the check in.
